Roger Goldenberg earned a BFA at the University of New Hampshire (1991) and later an MFA (1995) at the University of North Carolina–Greensboro. He earned his Bachelors in Science in Geology at UNH a decade earlier (1981). Roger was a research assistant on two National Science Foundation funded scientific expeditions to Antarctica (’78-’80).In 1995 Goldenberg moved to Portsmouth, NH, where he lived and worked in his studio at The Button Factory . He maintained his studio there for twenty years. In 2015 Goldenberg moved to Lebanon, NH where he rented a studio at the Alliance for the Visual Arts (AVA) Gallery and Art Center. In 2018, Roger purchased a home in Claremont, NH (The Claremont) where he maintains his studios.
